In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.” I offer myself as a candidate for District Court Judge in Mecklenburg County because of a belief that every citizen deserves competent, compassionate and just judges. Regardless of party affiliation, every person who comes to court wants to receive respect, consistency in the application of law, and fair and impartial treatment.
If elected, I bring over 45 years of life experience, education, civic, community and religious involvement and most importantly, familiarity and experience with the kinds of cases that are heard in the district court.
